Hematopathology is concerned with the study of diseases related to blood and its production i.e., haematopoiesis. It is also related with the study of tissues and organs such as bone marrow, thymus and spleen. It also involves in the study of malignant and non-malignant disorders related to blood and its cellular components such as erythrocytes, lymphocytes, platelets etc. This study also deals with diagnosing and differentiation of Myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN’s) which are caused due to hematopoietic myeloid progenitor cells in the bone marrow.
